Apple starts iPhone 11 screen replacement program
Some iPhone 11 devices manufactured between September 2019 and May 2020 have issues with a stuttering and unresponsive screen. For this reason, Apple is launching a free replacement program.
Apple indicates that the screen of the iPhone 11 is sometimes unresponsive. However, the company makes no further explanation as to the exact cause of these hiccups. The company does, however, urge owners to check whether they are eligible for a free replacement. iPhone 11 owners can check this by entering the iPhone 11 serial number on Apple’s support page.
Only iPhone 11 models manufactured between September 2019 and May 2020 are part of the replacement program. Other models, including the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone Pro Max, are left out.
Free iPhone 11 replacement program or right to a refund
As always, owners with an affected aircraft can choose between three routes. You can find an Apple-authorized repair service, schedule an appointment at an Apple retailer, or if you can’t leave home, contact Apple Support, and arrange a shipping service.
Have you already had the screen of your iPhone 11 replaced or repaired? Then it is also possible to receive a refund. In that case, contact Apple Support to start the process.
